I went back and did a quick search on dictionary.com - I think kaleidoscope is a really fantastic word for us(I really did say it by chance). It is mostly made up of Greek words. Simply wonderful.

A tube-shaped optical instrument that is rotated to produce a succession of symmetrical designs by means of mirrors reflecting the constantly changing patterns made by bits of colored glass at one end of the tube.
A constantly changing set of colors.
A series of changing phases or events: a kaleidoscope of illusions.

[Greek eidos = form, or the distinctive expression of the cognitive or intellectual character of a culture or a social group]

Kaleidoscope in Greek is καλειδοσκόπιο.
In Italian is Kaleidoskop.
In French is Kaléidoscope.
I just got news from the doc. that I must rest. My cough is highly contagious apparently. You can use the time (you can ask your relief teacher for time), to settle the shirt stuff. Thanks to those who are spearheading this. It's a tough job.
